Ok, I admit it - I saw New Moon. And I also admit I'm one of those scary screaming fan girls. And before you go on with your bourgeois-isms about how Twilight is so teenage let me tell you something; I am a teenager. And quite frankly, I don't care if you dislike Twilight. I understand if you're a male and you dislike Twilight because you’ve realized you will never live up to Edward or even Jacob for that matter. But if you are a girl, and haven't even given the series a chance, and are just saying how uncool Twilight is to sound cool, I find you insecure.
Besides what is there not to love? Hot vampires, gorgeous boys in the soaking rain (did I mention without tee-shirts?), graphically amazing werewolves, Miss Dakota Fanning playing a role that is not so pretentious, and an amusing maniacal Michael Sheen. What more do you really want? Yes I agree, I wished we could have seen more of the dazzling Edward too, but the director was just following the book’s plot line faithfully. I know I know. Jasper should have just controlled his blood thirsty urges so Edward could have stayed. But he didn’t, jerk. And I know you are upset that Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen didn’t look nearly as good as he did in the first film, but be thankful that Taylor Lautner/Jacob Black was there as a replacement. And not only did I think Kirsten Stewart/Bella Swan (er…Cullen) looked way prettier in this film, I also thought her acting greatly improved too. We no longer see her awkward mannerisms and her tendency to stroke her hair in distress. So, darlings go and see it. Laugh and smile, love Edward but secretly crush on Jacob too!
P.S. My friend invited me too a Twilight Convention where I get to see and talk to Peter Faccinelli/Carlisle Cullen. Jealous much?
